It is highly recommended to do your injections the same day and time each week.  Make it a time and day that easily works for you so you can be consistent.   If you have to due to say leaving on vacation you can change the day so long as your last dose was given 2 or more days prior.

This does happen from time to time.  If you happen to miss a dose just remember the rule of 2.

  1. Missed dose and the next scheduled injection is more than 2 days away, take the missed injection as soon as possible.
  2.  If you missed a dose and the next scheduled injection is less than 2 days away, DON’T administer the injection.  You will need to wait until your next regularly scheduled dose.
  3. If you missed a dose for more than 2 weeks, please call our office and schedule an appointment with the health care provider regarding restarting your Semaglutide treatment.

Do not use the medication past the 28 days, for the simple fact after that date the medication is ineffective.
